FINANCIAL AID OPTIONS
RASA offers 3 different Financial Aid Options, each based on different income requirements. Please review the options below to find the best for your family.
Option #1
- Your Cost: 75% of the Registration Fee, mandatory service hours at the rate of $10/hour for the amount covered by financial aid.
- Requirements: Your child is on the Reduce Lunch Program through the School District. You MUST present an official letter from the district indicating that your child participates in the Reduced Lunch Program. If you do not receive reduced lunch through RUSD but would qualify due to family income, you MUST provide proof of income to show that you meet the state income qualifications for the Reduced Lunch Program through income tax return.
Option #2
- Your Cost: 50% of the Registration Fee, mandatory service hours at the rate of $10/hour for the amount covered by financial aid.
- Requirements: Your child is on the Free Lunch Program through the School District. You MUST present an official letter from the district indicating that your child participates in the Free Lunch Program. If you do not receive free lunch through RUSD but would qualify due to family income, you MUST provide proof of income to show that you meet the state income qualifications for the Free Lunch Program through income tax return.
Option #3
- Your Cost: $35 flat fee, mandatory service hours at the rate of $10/hour for the amount covered by financial aid.
- Requirements:
Your income is at 100% or LOWER the Federal Poverty Level for 2021. You MUST show proof of income via your 2021 income tax return indicating you meet the income guidelines.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING FINANCIAL AID
RASA Financial Aid is a program in which a portion of your registration fees is paid through the completion of mandatory Service hours. COACHING DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR FULFILLMENT OF MANDATORY WORK HOURS
When applying for financial aid, you can not register online must register via mail-in registration form and financial aid form.
Failure to provide ALL information will result in denial of Financial Aid.
You will be required to provide supporting documentation. Letter from school district, income tax form, etc.
Failure to provide the requested additional information and documentation will result in denial of Financial Aid.
Approval of Financial Aid is not automatic. Your form will be reviewed. You may be asked to provide income tax returns and other proof on income in order to help with the decision process. You will be notified by RASA via mail if your application has been accepted or denied.
